It took me about two years to finally get serious about preserving my wedding dress. I had procrastinated because of the cost. Some of these wedding dress companies were quoting me $250.00 – $500.00 and then I had to get the dress to them! Ugh, I was definitely to lazy for that! What really got my butt in gear was a girlfriend of mine who showed me her yellow wedding dress that had been sitting in the back of her closet for ten years. Now that freaked me out!
Once I got serious, I started researching different avenues to preserve a wedding dress for the lazy post bride, and low and behold my Mom group told me about David’s Bridal mail in preservation service on Amazon for $100.00. Being an Amazon junkie this seemed right down my ally, HOWEVER, I was definitely a bit nervous about the risk of mailing my $3,000.00 wedding dress to David’s Bridal in Texas. Though, once I read the 67 decent reviews and pictures on Amazon the mail in process seemed a bit less risky.
